You know, like a "do over" or "try again."
We can look at our mistakes, stumbles, or stortcomings as failures, or we can use them to do better, be better, and create better.
Like this dress, it needed a redo, a chance to shine.
I love how art imitates life or life imitates art.

Take some time to sit in the glory of completion.

This is a crucial part of accomplishing the goal that artists often forget. When we don't look back on our successes, we don't develop the tools of affirmation. We need these tools daily to move us onward.

I have finished my lookbook for my new collection, "Jewels"!!!
I thought I would share the first few pages. This is the first time I have shared it, and I hope you love it!

This was such a fun and quick make as I have done

This was such a fun and quick make as I have done a few of these before.
Surprisingly, I made this reversible tank top with 4 fat quarters of crepe de chine from @spoonflower when they had their 50% off sale.
I knew it was a little shorter than I would like it, but it still has a nice flow and drape to it.

Do you find it hard to cut into precious fabric?
Especially when it is your design?!?
This is my second last sewing project for this collection, and I have to say I was better at trusting myself to cut these beautiful yellow Pearl of Great Price and Beyond Limits fabrics.
What part of the creative practice do you find yourself stalling?
For me, it's deciding on the pattern, cutting and getting to like the final project.
But the more I do, the more confident I get.
I tell you it's because I keep practicing and feeding my mind affirmations.
