Sometimes the simplest idea needs to come from outside ourselves.⁠
⁠
We can too easily get caught up in the same routine, the same thinking, the way we have always done things.⁠
⁠
I had the most serendipitous by chance/not by chance meet up with a friend at the grocery store yesterday. (I even told this friend that I prayed that morning for an answer to a question I had to have an answer to by the end of the day!!)⁠
⁠
I have missed the meaningful chatter between friends even though I have been content (for the most part) at home. ⁠
⁠
It was so refreshing and uplifting to hear wise and timely words from my friend. So needed, so soothing.⁠
⁠
She gave some much needed help and advice and I thought out loud, "what a great idea, so simple yet so good! I never thought of that!"⁠
⁠
We need each other, we need help no matter what stage of the journey we are in and we can't do this life thing on our own. ⁠

I think we all ask this question whether we feel it, think it concretely or it comes to us in another form.⁠

Does what I do matter? Is it important?⁠
⁠
Am I important?⁠
⁠
It comes down to value and worth.⁠
⁠
I struggle with bringing relevant content to you because I have a two fold business and purpose.⁠
⁠
Because I am a coach and an artist, I struggle with what to share and try to not confuse. ⁠
⁠
Do I share my patterns?⁠
⁠
Are people sick of hearing about my coaching?⁠
⁠
How do I stay engaged and true to me?⁠
⁠
Is it okay to be silent for a while?⁠
⁠
When I feel conflicted, instead of bringing something forward, I bring nothing forward. ⁠
⁠
I would rather be real instead of just pumping out content for the sake of having something "out there".⁠
⁠
And when I ask these questions of myself, I intrinsically know the answer but I am also asking you to think what your answer is as well.⁠

I definitely have drawn inward this month and sometimes the only truth I know for sure is the love of God. I know He sees me, hears me and walks with me. That is my daily comfort. He is there for you too.⁠

In my coaching session last night there was one thing that stood out and we kept coming back to.

My client knew that this dream of hers came from a calling that has been with her from a young age.

Her face lit up when she talked about her dream job and her dream clients.

Others have confirmed this to be her gifting as well.

I am excited to walk with her and see her dream become a reality!

Aren't we all searching for that Secret Recipe that gets us from point A to point B so much faster?⁠

Well, I am not sure about you but I am going a little crazy with all of the "get rich quick with your business" ads on IG and FB. ⁠
⁠
And true story, I have bought into a few courses (after I listened to them for a while and found them to be trust worthy) but not one has been the magic pill or secret sauce for me.⁠
⁠
I often think, mmmmh what am I missing? ⁠
⁠
If I am honest with myself I certainly have changed my focus a few times and confused my audience I am sure.⁠
⁠
I also have struggled with having to "solve my readers' problem" - that is extremely hard especially as an artist you just want to create.⁠

So, this is to encourage you. I see you struggling to make it work, to make it happen to make it all seem worth it. I do, I hear you and I see you. I am one of you.⁠

I really NEED to complete my surface pattern collection portfolio. But it is so much easier to sew.⁠

But once I finish, I get to present my work to future "employers" who I will be able to have a contract with - for me to make patterns for them!⁠
