Looking at a month ahead can feel daunting and overwhelming. Therefore, it is important to write out your monthly goals at the beginning of each month, one month at a time. I like to look at my weekly goal tracker and see what I have accomplished. Then I plug these weeks into bigger categories on my monthly goal tracker. So follow along as I take out the overwhelm for how to set and achieve monthly goals.

Weekly Goals on Repeat
When you think of accomplishing one big task a week, times that by four and you will have four big tasks accomplished which just might be one goal a week for the month.
If I look at my weekly goals accomplished as a whole (I had approximately seven goals, one I could accomplish per day), I can break them down into categories. Here is a summary of the seven tasks that I accomplished for this past week.
- Schedule a week of social media posts
- Create a more distinct and cohesive brand for goal setting and surface pattern design
- Complete one of the Ivory Mix Membership courses
- Create two blog posts
Then I take these goals and categorize them into four areas that I will plug into a new month.
- Schedule a month’s worth of social media posts
- Complete a new logo and upload to site
- Complete FOUR Ivory Mix Membership courses
- Create a schedule for EIGHT Blog posts.

And then as I start a new month, I look at the month as a whole. From there I break up each of the four areas into weekly doable chunks.
After you have a collection of four weeks worth of goals accomplished, you will be able to distinguish which goals need to be put on repeat. Then you can plug these tasks into the Monthly Goal Tracker.
Remember to duplicate what worked last month. Also, it is important to note that each of these goals are categorized as either Input/Learn or Output/Create.

Take some time to fill out your Monthly Goal Tracker at the beginning of the next month. Remember to include your affirmations, goals reached, success that was shared and what you are looking forward to for next month.
Accountability
One of the most important features of this Monthly Goal tracker is the “Shared Monthly Success & Struggle with Supports”. We need to have encouragement towards our goals plus built in accountability to take us to our next level. Accountability keeps us on our toes and getting into the next task and the next and so on. I would recommend meeting with an accountability partner once a month.

Affirmations
It is crucial to have ongoing affirmations that you are stating and referring back to in order to maintain the confidence in you goal attainment. Refer to Vocalizing as an Essential Tool to Achieving Your Goal post to get all the importance and how to information to have an affirmation routine in place.
Goals Reached
It is key to look back to see what was successful in order to keep doing more of the same and dropping what isn’t working. Remember to transfer your “Goals Reached” answers (“Yes” or “Working in Progress”) section on the weekly Goal Tracker to the monthly Goal Tracker.
