Our living room has needed a new couch for a while now. Our new piece needed to be functional, comfortable and stylish. It was also just as important to be able to curl up with my hubby and watch a movie together. After much online searching, I went into one store that had the style and the price point we were looking for in a blue velvet sectional.

Customizable
The sectional I found was at The Brick. The Brick has a line called Designed2B that allows you to choose your fabric, size and configuration. There just happened to be an option for a blue velvet sectional with the Designed2b line just what I was looking for. The configuration we chose was the Flora right facing sectional.

The obvious choice was the light blue velvet; Kira Sea. It was a soft, yet short pile velvet. Even though this sectional was a custom order, it cost the same amount as other sectionals in The Brick that weren’t custom. We really appreciated that it was made in Canada as well.

Beauty & Comfort
This sectional is not only a stunning piece, it is extremely comfortable and sturdy. I love that our whole family of four can cuddle on this sectional. There was an instant added richness to the mostly white decor when we switched from a white couch to this blue velvet sectional.

I love the pop of pink that this Peony & Bee Pillow adds to the space. It has a welcoming spring vibe.

Closing off the one side of the living room with the chaise part of the sectional meant moving the turquoise cabinet closer to the window. I love how this piece blends beautifully with the east and west coast art.
